Elephant Calves at Baan Chang Thai
Elephant Camp, Klong Prao, Koh Chang
Please visit the camp and meet the
elephants not simply to take photos of the calves, but to learn more about
them and watch the interaction between a new mother and her offspring. If
you enjoy this unique experience, please remember to make a contribution to
their upkeep so that the breeding program can continue to be successful.
The mothers are unable to work for several months after giving birth and so
the mahouts rely on donations to pay for their and their elephants food.

birth are below. It took 5 minutes of massaging and CPR from mahouts before
it started breathing on its own.
