Tranquility Bay Residence, Bangbao, Koh Chang
On Site Photos - I took most of these
photos in late 2006. They aren't touched up with
Photoshop and represent what you'll actually see on site. I'll
be adding more photos as construction work progresses.

Condo Interiors
Construction work of Phase 1 Condo Units C & B (
on the Masterplan ) is well underway

The roofs are worth a closer look. These
are built of teak and terracotta tiles with a steel frame, proper
waterproofing and insulation as concessions to modern living.

The view from one of the condo units. It
was a hazy day and so the visibility wasn't particularly good.
On the right is Bangbao peninsula and on the left the silhouette of
the island of Koh Klum is just visible through the mist.

Two show condos are under construction, these
won't be fully completed until December, but the bathroom has been
finished.

Down by the shore, this is the beach. As
you can see the sand is coarse and not particularly 'paradise like'.
However, all this will change when the beach is remodelled and
additional sand brought in to improve the quality of beach.

One day, in the not too distant future this will
be the private pier at Tranquility Bay. The large uninhabited
island of Koh Klum is in the distance.

Finally three of photos looking at Tranquility
Bay from a distance. The first photo was taken from the nearby
fishing village of Bangbao (The
house it was taken from is for sale.)

I took this photo from our speedboat on the way
back from day out snorkelling. Tranquility Bay Residence is the only
building visible in the centre of the photo. Apologies for the
quality, we were doing around 60km/h at the time. All the hillside
in the photo is in the National Park and so can't be developed.
'Tranquility Bay' . . . it seems to live up to
it's name.

To give you an idea of the visibility when the
weather is clear, this last photo was taken from Koh Wai, an
excellent spot for snorkelling off the beach. This is the view
looking towards Koh Chang, with Koh Klum in the foreground.
It'd be nice to be able to hop in a small speedboat and 20 minutes
later be here, wouldn't it?
