I get quite a few emails asking about the
beach here. Resort operators tend to be a bit vague when it comes to
answering the simple question about the availability of sand in the area . . .
as there isn't any. ( The resorts are pretty nice though.)

Parking area at Enjoy Resort. Shady bungalows mainly catering for Thai families. Standing in the centre of Pearl Beach, looking south . . . no sand. And now, looking north from the same spot . . . some of the stones look nice. Lots of open space and good sea views at Priviledge Resort Virtually every hotel on Koh Chang has bought stoneware from this shop, they have some nice stuff but they arent the sort of souvenirs that'll fit in your carry-on luggage. Sky Bay Pub. A roadside Thai style nightclub. Worth a visit for the novelty of being one of the few foreigners in there. Keereeta. The best place to stay in the area. A touch of class at the trendy 'Paris-London' Bar. Looking down the hill from the southern end of the road past Pearl Beach.
